A few times a year I find it necessary to make an appeal for donations in support of my work as a journalist and government whistleblower, which includes this website, Barbara Hartwell Vs. CIA.
I am a disabled senior citizen, trying to survive on disability benefits, which as far as I can tell, are the lowest of the low, less than $12,000 a year. I had to fight to get even this pittance. Pro bono lawyers had to prove that I have no official employment history and no government pension.
I do not have anywhere near enough money to live on. This mere pittance does not even cover my rent, much less any other bills or expenses. I have, for all purposes, been relegated to living way below the poverty line, one of the elderly, disabled and poor whom no one cares about.
And, for the record, over all these years, I did not ever have anyone who cared enough to stop the worst things from happening to me. Had there been anyone, I would have gladly given credit where it was due.
I am not seeking sympathy. That is useless to me. I have no interest in commiserating with anyone. I am not seeking advice, nor have any interest in listening to platitudes about how bad the government is, or how “everyone” is suffering. And if anyone ever has the callous disregard to say to me, “That's life”, I am quick to hang up the phone or walk away.
I have published a great deal of information on government crimes, corruption and coverups (including how I was victimized, targeted, and persecuted in retaliation, by CIA and other government entities), through print and broadcast journalism, over more than four decades, thirty of those years on the Internet.
I have also investigated and exposed many other cases (some high-profile) of people who have contacted me with their true stories of being targeted and victimized.
Anyone who takes the time to do the research may see that over a period of decades, I have a solid track record of consistently being a defender of Liberty and God-given unalienable individual rights. I have always been a hard-line, Law-and-Order conservative, abiding by an oath to defend and support the Constitution, as well as a devout Christian and minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I have stood up against evildoers of all kinds, Nazis, Satanists, and especially radical lunatic leftists, Democrats, Socialists, Communists, Progressives, Marxists, Jew-haters, Jihadis, terrorist groups such as Antifa, Black Lives Matter, Hamas.
I would never ask for material support from these enemies of Liberty and perpetrators of grievous injustices; they are my enemies.
I should also add that I am not a part of the Internet culture. I do not use social media (never have done). I do not seek interaction with the general public, nor with readers of my site. My policy is: DO NOT ENGAGE.
This site, Barbara Hartwell Vs. CIA, is an archive of my work. It is not a news site. I am not a news reporter. I have always been an advocacy journalist who covers issues which are important to me.

I do not maintain any e-mail contact list, do not send out notices, nor do I offer such a service. I do not seek subscribers or followers. All information I have to offer is published on this site.
I am a private person, a recluse who probably belongs in a monastery. However, here I am, still working. Still in the World (not by choice), but far from being OF THE WORLD.
I cannot offer any special or exclusive benefits to those who make donations. Everything on my site is free, and always has been.
I am in urgent need of material support, not only to continue maintaining this website, but for basic survival.
It seems that nowadays most people expect to get something (quid pro quo) for their money. I would hope the value the reader places on the material on this site will be sufficient.
