For more than three decades, in both print and broadcast journalism, I have been covering an issue which is of great concern to me: A deadly agenda based on hatred of Jews. There is not just a singular group promoting their calumny and toxic propaganda. The Jew-haters come from various backgrounds and political ideologies. I won't bother naming any of these groups, it should be obvious to anyone familiar with the issue. But I will say this: The Jew-haters are legion, they are evil, and their numbers are growing at an alarming rate.
Over the years, I have made it a priority to stand up in protest of these vile characters, and to expose them by name, while also refuting their hideous lies against “The Jews”, citing facts and evidence.
Anyone who wants the names of notorious Jew-haters and their supporters may find long lists in reports on this site, along with the exposure of some of the most notorious individual Jew-haters, gory details included.
I think about this issue every day. Thinking, what more can I do to bring attention to this dire situation.
So, I decided that I could publish another list of names, not of the haters, but this time of those decent, honorable individuals who have taken a stand against them, who have gone above and beyond to expose the evil and to do all in their power to put a stop to it. I want to give credit where it is due.
Some are journalists (print and/or broadcast). Some are Jews, but most are not. Some have passed away, including those very dear to me (my sister, Irene Adrian and my good friend, Sherri Kane).
Some are friends, some acquaintances, and some are people I do not know personally. Some are journalists with whom I have collaborated in exposing the Jew-haters' agenda.
But all have done the right thing, regardless of the consequences to themselves. They have been brutally attacked with smear campaigns; they have been accused of taking bribes from Israel; they have been treated like pariahs, simply because they refuse to allow the evildoers to prevail.
I will be adding to the list as more names come to mind, or as I learn of individuals who are worthy of my respect for their heroism. In my view, they are heroes.
The names on this list are chosen for this one issue only, regardless of their other stated views or affiliations, and as always, at the sole discretion of Barbara Hartwell. The readers may make of it what they will.
