NOTE: This brief article was written in 2008 by a Brother in Christ. I was led in the Spirit to republish it, in the belief that there are those who could benefit from the message. My enduring prayer is for all those who are sincerely searching for the truth.
Corinthians
6:14:
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Many
children of God find themselves in situations where they are
entangled in relationships with other human beings, who, despite
being exposed to the gospel of Jesus Christ, remain unbelievers. I
believe the term “unbelievers,” in this scripture is directed
towards only one type of individual.
Many individuals are actively and honestly searching for the truth, but are confused, being distracted by the evil inherent to mankind, which permeates our society, and have difficulty discerning truth from fiction; they are unaware they are being deceived. Those who continue to honestly search for truth, shall find it. These are individuals we most certainly must fellowship and commune with.
This scripture refers to individuals who are aware of the truth, but rather than submit to the Lord Jesus Christ, choose to profess a lie for their own selfish purposes. By their fruits you shall know them.
The
most insidious of these “unbelievers” are the zealots for “New
Age” eschatology; they are nothing but tools of the devil, sowing
discord whenever and wherever they can, doomed for eternity unless
and until they repent. They have all been fed strong delusion, having
been given every chance to come out of the darkness, and having
actively chosen their own final plight, which choice was known by the
Almighty since the foundation of the world. None have been cursed to
this destiny, but have chosen it themselves. Prayer is the only thing
we can do for these lost souls, as we know not who might repent, and
be a child of God in the final analysis, and who will be a son of the
devil. These individuals stick out like a sore thumb to those who
have ears to hear and eyes to see, the moment they open their
blaspheming mouths, spouting their new age refuse, giving credence to
every doctrine of deception that comes down the pike, and refusing to
admit the truth; persecuting the Lord Jesus the Christ, his Angels
and children.
Do not allow these sons of Satan to steal your
peace and happiness. Do whatever it is you must do to overcome this
evil that surrounds you in these last days, as we know it. Wipe the
dust from off your feet, and may perfect peace, liberty and
happiness, that can be received only from the knowledge of the Lord
be yours until the coming of our Lord, Jesus the Christ.
