FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST TENANT TRACY KRAWITT TO LANDLORD OF RHINEBECK PROPERTY

 

 

The following is an excerpt from a letter to my landlord, sent certified return receipt, after tenant Tracy Krawitt made a false complaint to the landlord against Barbara Hartwell.

 

I want this on the public record, for my own protection, because, given the past pattern of behavior, it would be reasonable to conclude that the offender, one Tracy Krawitt, is likely to fabricate additional lies and false accusations against Barbara Hartwell.


Krawitt has no ground (legal or otherwise) to stand on; no evidence to support her injurious false accusations. The damages to me are mounting, including emotional distress and the necessity of spending my valuable time and resources in self defense against this onslaught of injustices.


My purpose is to put a stop to the offenses of this aggressor by any and all lawful and ethical means available to me. Should there be further offenses, they will be documented and reported to the appropriate authorities.

EXCERPT:


I was told that the “complaints” from “other tenants” were that I was accused of being on the parcel of property (yard) rented by Tracy Krawitt. No other “tenants” were named, so if there were more than one, I was not informed of it. Otherwise, the complaints, as outlined to me, were non-specific and vague.


Here are the facts, for the record.


By a number of incidents, Tracy Krawitt has shown herself to be a malicious liar. The most recent false accusation against me was that I was on the property outside her house (yard.) That is an absolute falsehood. At no time have I ever walked in close proximity to her house.


On February 15, I made a call to Dog Control, to make yet another complaint against Krawitt for noise disturbance caused by her howling dog, only the most recent of such complaints.


Krawitt has been repeatedly cited by Dog Control for violating regulations. Clearly, she has continued to disregard and violate the regulations, causing the peace to be disturbed by the noise.


I was standing in the common driveway to make the call because the Dog Control officer asked me to call from outside so that she could have evidence of the howling, hearing it herself. I never left the driveway while on the phone with Dog Control and was at least 25 feet from Krawitt's house.


While I was standing in the common driveway, a woman came up behind me in a car, parked in front of Krawitt's house, jumped out and came running down the driveway. She aggressively accosted me, shouting at me and asking if I was “on the phone with the warden”. I ignored her, though she continued to harass me until I walked away, never having spoken a word to her.


It was none of her business who I was talking to, nor was it her business that I was standing in the common driveway on a rental property for which I am paying. I do not know who this woman is, I had never seen her before. But whether or not she is a tenant, she was the sole offender, for accosting and harassing me.


In reference to Krawitt and her accomplice (the unknown woman), at no time have I said or done anything on this property which would warrant any sort of complaint against me, by anyone.


Tracy Krawitt has made a number of false accusations against me, beginning in December 2019, when she made a false police report (which is a criminal offense), claiming that I had “threatened to kill” her. This was a bold-faced lie! This, after she caused a huge disturbance outside my house with her commercial vehicles, coming within inches of hitting my car, and in fact invaded my yard, where she had no right to be. Her associate (the driver of the truck) was cursing and verbally assaulting me with obscenities in a menacing manner.


In my own defense, I have documented the many offenses of Tracy Krawitt and have published reports exposing her offenses against me, including this latest. These reports are on the public record, posted on various websites, including my own.


I will not tolerate being slandered by this woman, with false accusations being made against me. Please be advised that I have now been inappropriately cited by your office for an offense I did not commit, based on the testimony of a malicious liar (or liars, as the case may be.)


At no time have I ever set foot in the yards of any other tenants, unless by invitation, or with permission. This certainly includes Krawitt, whom I do not know, with whom I am not on speaking terms, and with whom I have no dealings whatsoever, and never will.


As for her many offenses, I deal with them by exposing them for the public record and reporting them to civil authorities.


I have the right to the reasonable expectation that I will not be treated with any bias whatsoever, simply because of the false accusations of this malicious liar, Tracy Krawitt.


Let this serve as my formal written complaint against your tenant, Tracy Krawitt.
