Barbara Hartwell Vs. CIA is the one and only official site on which I publish my work on the Internet.
My reports first appeared in 1995, on other sites, until I got my first website in 2000.
My work is strictly professional. I do not use social media, nor post material on any other sites, nor in their 'comments' sections.
I am not a participant in the Internet culture. My site is not interactive, but rather a closed system. I do not engage in online discussions or arguments, I do not seek followers, nor publicity, nor do I seek out any form of social or professional interaction. My basic policy is: Do not engage.
Barbara Hartwell Vs. CIA is not a news site. It is an archive of my work, going back at least 30 years, and sometimes more, when I include articles I wrote for hardcopy publications before the Internet.
All my content is free and always has been. I do not offer any special benefits for those who make donations. But I do hope and pray that you, my readers, will benefit in some way from what is offered on this site, and that you may enjoy the content.
I am a disabled senior citizen, attempting to survive on disability benefits, which are actually less than $12,000 a year. This paltry sum does not even cover my rent, much less any other basic living expenses.
Aside from any donations I may receive, I make no money from my work. It costs money for me to run this site. I pay a monthly fee for reliable Internet service and also to hire the best tech support.
