Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
This is a letter from Father Frank Pavone, requesting our support for him to be reinstated to the priesthood. Like many others who love, respect and admire him, I will never call him anything but Father, regardless of what has been unjustly taken from him.
He is a hero, a champion for the God-given rights of precious children, many of whom are alive today because of his efforts.

LETTER FROM FATHER FRANK PAVONE
Now that we have a new Pope, so many people around the world and across the Body of Christ have told me that they are praying that I be reinstated to the priesthood.
I am being asked three questions which I want to answer briefly:
1. Is it possible?
2. Am I requesting it? And …
3. How can I help?
As to the first question, YES, it is possible. What Pope Francis did, Pope Leo XIV can undo. It can certainly happen that I can fully exercise my priestly functions and carry out my pro-life work fulltime, just as I have done since 1993.
With the second question, the answer is again, YES! I am requesting it. I have never had one moment’s doubt that I am called to be a priest. In spite of all that has happened, I have not joined a different Church. I have not sought marriage. And except for the sacramental duties that only a priest can perform, I have been doing the same fulltime pro-life work as I’ve done for 32 years.
And so, I am going to ask again for what I asked for 32 years ago; namely: The Church’s blessing to do it as a priest.
As a matter of fact, as you are reading this message from me, I am in direct communication with one of the highest ranking Cardinals in the Vatican! I am also pursuing other avenues, all in an attempt to be reinstated to the priesthood.
Of course, as so many of you have said, “You are a priest forever,” and that is true. The priesthood itself cannot be taken away from me. The pope can restrict me from exercising my vocation publicly. That’s what Pope Francis did. And I have been obedient to all the restrictions he imposed.
But thanks to dedicated, generous, loyal Priests for Life family members like you, I’ve been able to continue the work of saving the unborn, electing pro-life candidates, lobbying lawmakers, healing people wounded by abortion, leading marches and prayer vigils, bringing leaders together for strategy meetings, and proclaiming the pro-life message via talks, broadcasts, and writings.
All that work continues because of you and Priests for Life partners like you.
And that leads to the third question – how can you help me?
There are three important ways for you to help.
The first is to PRAY and ask God to bless my request to be reinstated to the priesthood with success. I’m confident that if you and the tens of thousands of others who know me and know the impact Priests for Life has on people storm heaven with prayer, that God will hear our pleas and bless this effort.
The second way you can help today is to lend your voice to mine in requesting that the Pope reinstate me. Your message can be as short or as long as you like. Use this link to send your message expressing your desire that I be reinstated and give the reason(s) why you want that.
I’m asking you to do this because I know you support me. And having your message in writing will help me make the case to Pope Leo that the People of God recognize the value of my work and want it to continue – both as a priest and as a full time pro-life leader.
Those are the first two ways you can help.
The third way you can help is to continue to support Priests for Life financially. As I’ve always said, our best response to those who try to cancel us is our success!
Never forget. Our enemies didn’t just want me out of the priesthood. They wanted nothing less than make me and Priests for Life disappear completely.
But that hasn’t happened!
And one of the main reasons why it hasn’t happened is because you and pro-life warriors like you didn’t allow it to happen. You love the work that Priests for Life does and recognize the fruits we produce together that you continue to make the sacrifices necessary to send the donations that make it possible for Priests for Life to continue to lead the pro-life movement to victory over abortion.
In telling you that I will repeat what I’ve told you ever since you joined the Priests for Life family. And that’s this. If you ever see that I or my team stop doing the work to end America’s abortion holocaust, then stop supporting it.
On the other hand, if you still see us leading the fight and doing the work, then continue to support us.

Your dollars are critically needed for several reasons.
One, because the summer is almost here and when the dog days of summer arrive, donations typically dry up. So any donation you can send today will help make sure our work continues without interruption throughout the summer.
Second, because there are more costs to carry out our life-saving work then I can itemize in this one email. And given the anti-life fanaticism of the pro-aborts we don’t dare to slow down our work to protect our unborn brothers and sisters.
And let me assure you, that I will not be distracted from carrying on that work while I seek to be reinstated to the priesthood. That said there are expenses to that process so we can use your donation to help that process move forward.
Before I end this short request for help, I want to tell you that I was looking through all of my priestly vestments a short time ago. I still have the chasuble I wore and the chalice I used for my first Mass in 1988! And as I looked at these items and held them in my hands, I couldn’t help but reflect on the possibility that Pope Leo XIV will restore my priestly faculties.
Of course, there are no guarantees. We’re going to make the request. But knowing that you’re behind me in this effort gives me comfort and confidence!
