Christ's Own: Reflections on My Christian Faith

This article is personal, in the sense that it addresses my own Christian faith and beliefs. It is not meant as a sermon, and not as a tutorial, but is rather a way to share my perceptions, my insights and some of what has been revealed to me by the Holy Spirit, by the grace of God, and in the love of Christ, over a period of many years. I speak from my heart, it is my own testimony, and as always, I hope that some will find value in it.

I have found that "Christian" is a loaded word, at least in an intellectual and historical sense. There are many Christian churches, many denominations, many doctrines and dogmas, and yet I have come to believe that there is only one true apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, which has existed from antiquity: The Church of Jesus Christ is the Body of Christ (Corpus Christi) and embraces all true Christian believers, those who have been baptized with the Holy Spirit and who are in every conceivable way, "Christ's Own".

Who are Christ's Own? They are those who gather in his name. They could be anyone from anywhere. They could be regular churchgoers, occasional churchgoers, or those who do not attend a church. They could be from any and every racial and ethnic heritage. They could be male or female. They could be converts from non-Christian religions or from no religion at all. They could be those who have received the calling to be preachers, ministers, priests, pastors, or they could be those who are not ordained under the protocols of any church "rule" or "laws". They could be high-profile evangelists or missionaries, or those whose identities remain obscure, hidden but from the sight of God, in a cloister or monastery.

The Church should not be about "religion", it is meant to be about Jesus Christ. Christ's Own are the true believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They live "in Christ" for the resurrected and eternal life of Christ lives in them.

"BIBLE BELIEVERS"

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

John 16: 13

One of the most difficult problems I have faced in my dealings with certain types of Christians is the rigid, hide-bound "Fundamentalist Bible Believer" mentality which insists that every word written in "The Bible" is the inerrant Word of God.

These literalists and legalists seem to me to be slavish followers of an indoctrination system by the conventions and consensus of the words of men, rather than seekers of spiritual truth, followers of, and true believers in, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Certainly, they are free to believe what they will, as are we all. The "problem", for me, has been when these Christians attempt to foist their particular set of "religious" beliefs on me, not respecting my right to believe, and to worship God, as I choose. I refuse to argue with them, and especially, it is my policy not to "argue" about scripture with anyone. To attempt to apply pressure on others is a form of aggression, and serves no purpose but to sow discord. If they become too aggressive, I simply bless them and walk away. That is what free will, bestowed by God on each and every individual, is all about.

If I am considered a heretic by these "Bible Believers" so be it. Some have accused me of "denying Christ" or "leading others astray", simply because I refused to conform to their particular rigidly defined standards of being a "Christian", or because I don't consider the Bible the ultimate authority in my life. I don't care for their opinions and do not seek their approval. God Almighty is the only authority in my life. If I'm misguided in my beliefs, I trust that God will set me straight, through the instruction of His Holy Spirit.

As for me, I'm not much of an "evangelist", at least not of the proselityzing variety. I have a JESUS LOVES YOU bumper sticker on my car, but that's about the exent of it. If someone I know asks me about my beliefs, I will gladly tell them. I state on the front page of my website that I am a "Believer in the Gospel of Jesus Christ". Christian fellowship is also important to me, whether it's in my church or with other Christian friends, near or far. I invite people to come to church with me, because at my church everyone is welcomed unconditionally, all are invited to receive the Holy Eucharist, all are embraced as Brothers and Sisters in Christ, whether they are professing "Christians" or not. To the extent that I am able, I "preach the gospel to every creature", including the seagulls I meet on the beach. But I draw the line at trying to force the gospel on anyone. If I offer it, and it is rejected, I respect and honor the wishes of the other person, for that is between them and God.

Jesus said, Seek and you shall find; ask and it shall be given; knock and the door shall be opened to you. It has been my experience that all the truth which has been revealed to me personally came from one source only: The Holy Spirit. Sometimes it was after "seeking", "asking" or "knocking". Other times the truth was revealed as a "bolt from the blue", when I wasn't aware that I was even looking. I could read the Bible, but no matter how much "truth" I was reading, until it was inscribed on my heart by the Holy Spirit, I would know nothing at all.

Over a period of many years, I have studied the Bible, in a number of versions, and I have found much truth in each one. But I also know --from the truth revealed to me by the Holy Spirit; by my own studies of history, theology and by just plain logic and common sense-- that the Bible (whichever version) was written by human beings. It was translated by human beings, and human beings decided what would be included (in the different versions) and what would not. But human beings are not God; they are fallible, they make mistakes, and some have agendas ("religious" or otherwise) that do not necessarily come from God.

True, some of those human beings whose writings appear in the Bible were inspired by the Holy Spirit, there is no doubt in my mind, even if only because some of the same truths have been revealed to me personally by the very same Holy Spirit. In particular (aside from the New Testament) some of the Prophets; the Psalmist and the writers of Proverbs speak to me as God's Truth. But only because it has also been inscribed directly on my heart. The Holy Spirit does not change the truth to suit the needs, the desires or the agendas of men. Those who look to the writings of men (no matter how inspired by God) rather than to God Himself, will be limited in their knowledge and in the power which is given by God, through His Holy Spirit.

Then, there are the non-canonical gospels and scriptures. It was "decided", again, not by God, but by the councils of human beings, which of these would be included in "the Bible". The most commonly read, and accepted version of the Bible is the King James Version (KJV). Many fundamentalists consider this the ONLY "inerrant Word of God." They believe the KJV is written in stone, dictated from On High, from God's mouth to the ears of His prophets and those "taking dictation", and that any deviation from it is not permissable in the eyes of God. This belief has an obvious corollary: That each and every writer of any part of the scriptures was completely and totally "taken over" by the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of God), and is therefore possessed of "perfect", irrefutable, supreme, absolute knowledge and truth; and that those who translated and compiled the scriptures were equally infallible.

Obviously, I don't agree. Call me a heretic if you will, Bible-thumpers, be my guest! The judgments of men will not dictate what I believe. And one thing I do believe is that God, the Almighty, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, is so much bigger, so much more glorious, His truth so much more vast, than that which could ever be contained in any book of scripture, no matter how inspired were some of the writers by His Holy Spirit.

Personally, I have studied all the different versions of the Bible which I could find, including the KJV; I have read the non-canonical gospels and scriptures as well, and I have a large collection of all sorts of these Bibles and related volumes. Mostly, I use the KJV and the NIV (known by some as the "Catholic Bible"). I love reading Biblical scriptures and I have found value, comfort and inspiration from them all. And I don't believe for a minute that God would not want me to keep searching for truth, to build my faith in every way available to me. For, example, there are gospels and scriptures not included in the KJV -- such as the Apocrypha, the Ecclesiasticus of Sirach, which are included in the NIV and certain others. Then there are the Book of Enoch, the Book of Jubilees, the Dead Sea Scrolls, etc. etc. which I have found extremely inspiring and of great value to increase the depth of my spiritual and historical knowledge and understanding.

But most important, I know that without the Holy Spirit I would have no understanding and no truth. I am a believer, first and foremost, in Jesus Christ and His gospel. I trust that God will inform me of all I need to know, and that all I am given to know, through the Holy Spirit, will suffice in God's purpose for my life.

Religiously reading "the Bible" (whichever version), reciting scripture by rote, taking the words or doctrines of men and making a "religion" of them, will not "save" you. The Word of God is ALIVE in Christ and in the power of His Holy Spirit, also known as the Spirit of Truth. It is not just a "feeling", it is not a mere "belief system", it is a LIVING POWER. Unless the Word of God is inscribed on your heart, no matter how much you "know", or think you know, no matter how often you read the scriptures, you will know nothing of any real and lasting value, and you will be in thrall to the doctrines and manipulations of men, and of the world of men. You will not belong to Christ and you will not inherit the Kingdom of God. You will not arrive at spiritual truth by striving to use your intellect, by literalism or legalism, and it will not bring you the peace of Christ.

SPIRITUAL REALMS, GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT & SUPERNATURAL WARFARE

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

1 John 2:20

...the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

John 14: 17

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

John 14:26

"For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil."

1 John 3:8

This world is not "all there is". The truth of the resurrection of Christ, above all, proves that beyond any doubt. There exist spiritual realms which are for the most part "unseen", but are nevertheless very real.

Angels are real. Those Angels under the command of Christ serve as God's messengers, ministers and warriors. Demons are also real, though I have heard many Christians say they do not "believe" in them. Unfortunately, the demons, under the command of Satan, believe in you, and in me. They not only believe in us, but they will look for any way to get inside our houses and wreak havoc in our lives. They will use all forms of deception, and even masquerade as "Angels of Light." But their purpose is to separate us from God. It is a war for hearts, minds and souls. Don't let them win!

As Christians, we are called not only to believe in Christ, to seek God through prayer, but also to engage in spiritual warfare. The world of spirit is supernatural, beyond the realm of the physical, in other dimensions, yet interspersed with the physical plane. There is no "time" or "space", not as we normally understand them from the limits of mere "physical" perception. But if you do not have Christ, if you do not have the Holy Spirit, you will be defenseless, for you will have no spiritual power with which to war against evil, to effectively resist the schemes of the devil.

In certain gifts of the Spirit, God has blessed me greatly. I did not earn these gifts, they were bestowed on me by the Grace of God and I am responsible for obeying God in the use of them. I don't expect that I will ever fully understand the mysteries of God, so I try the best I can to work with what I have been given, and to give thanks and praise for His blessings. I do know that if I misuse these gifts of the Spirit, God will correct me. If I were to try to take the credit for these gifts, or boast of them as if they were some badge of my own achievement, God will take them away from me. Why? Because the power of these gifts comes from God to use only for His glory. What God has given, He can take away.

Spiritual discernment (or discernment of spirits) comes only from the Holy Spirit, of that I am certain. If I am able to see into the spiritual realm, which is as real to me as anything in this world, then I am also called to use my gifts to the Glory of God and as a soldier in the battle to destroy the works of the devil and to win souls for Christ. I am not to use my gifts for any other purpose, nor for worldly ambition.

I have heard many Christian preachers inveigh against "clairvoyance", as if it is the "work of the devil". The word simply means "clear seeing". What could be more "clear" than the visions given by the Holy Spirit? "Clairvoyance" is a word, nothing more. Perhaps it is a word which has been given a negative connotation, especially by fundamentalists. But I am not talking about occultism, as in "psychic powers" where one seeks to cheat God of His glory by willfully seeking knowledge or powers from spiritual realms not of God. This is the witchcraft practiced by table-tippers, spiritualists, wiccans, theosophists, new agers or secular humanists. And yes, satanists. These are the "doctrines of devils", and to be scrupulously avoided by those who serve Christ.

But God does bestow gifts of the Spirit on His people and we are meant to use them to serve His will. It is this spiritual perception (also called "spiritual sight") which allows us to see who and what we are really dealing with; it can serve as a warning system when there is evil intent in the heart of another, or when danger looms around the next corner; and it can serve to give us understanding of the realities in the lives of others whom we wish to help with intercessory prayer or spiritual counsel, always assuming they have requested it. Healing by the laying on of hands, or by prayer alone, is another gift of the Spirit.

As long as we use these gifts of the Spirit in the ways God intends, we do no wrong. But if we were to use supernatural warfare, for instance, to curse, or to attack someone (as in Voodoo, Santeria, etc.) we are doing evil, we are engaging in witchcraft, which is an abomination to God.

Secular humanists, new agers and the whole "human potential" movement are not of God. In essence, they believe that they themselves are "gods", that they are complete in and of themselves, in their own knowledge and power, with no need for God --or worst of all, believe that they can usurp the very power of God. How mistaken and misguided they are! They are deceived by the doctrines of devils, by the belief that they can manipulate reality, or "create their own reality", leaving God out of the equation. They may promote "love and light", but their "love" is shallow, self-serving and insincere and their "light" is not the light of Christ, but from a sinister and false source, namely Lucifer, the "light bearer". True love is spiritual and comes only from God, from Christ within us.

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5: 13-16

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7

Will we stay silent when we witness the Glory of God, as revealed to us by His Holy Spirit?

Or will we proclaim Christ's redeeming love to the world?

Will we stay silent when we witness the works of evildoers?

Or will we step forward in the power of the Holy Spirit and rebuke the workers of iniquity, those who would steal our peace in the love of Christ?

Will we come to the defense of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ when they are threatened, oppressed, tyrannized, abused, wrongfully accused?

This is the "salt and light" of Christ's gospel. Christians are not meant to be wimpy, wishy-washy or lukewarm. We are not called to be approval seekers or people pleasers. We do not serve the world of men, but the Kingdom of God. Genuine "love and light" have immense power and come only from God, from the indwelling of Christ and His Holy Spirit.

WORKING OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION

Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Philippians 2: 12-13

Many Christians seem to think that all they have to do in order to be "saved" is to profess a belief in Jesus Christ, or to witness before a congregation. They can just go on sinning, doing whatever they please, God will forgive them, and all will work out in the end. But anyone who has the love of Christ in his heart, anyone who has the Holy Spirit, knows different.

Those who love God will want with all their hearts not to sin. They may struggle with sin, but they will not believe that God will simply overlook their sin just because they say they have accepted Christ.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3;23

True, all fall short of the glory of God. But can we willfully continue to sin without consequences? Working out our own salvation includes true repentance and a full effort to turn away from sin.

When we have the Holy Spirit we are instructed in our hearts as to the true nature of sin. We are convicted in the Spirit, and we can sincerely repent, ask God for forgiveness, for guidance and strength. God will not "stop" us from sin, we must make that decision ourselves, using the free will bestowed on us. But God can and will help us to stop sinning if we are sincere in our hearts and in our efforts.

True, we need to follow Christ's commandments, we need to listen to His gospel, but I also believe that for most people, much of what constitutes "sin" should be as obvious as the sun in the sky at high noon.

Do you have hatred and murder festering in your heart?

Or do you make every effort to love your neighbor as yourself, as Christ commanded? Do you "do unto others" as you would have them do unto you? Maybe just as important, do you NOT do unto others what you would not have them do to you?

Do you turn away from those in need when they ask for your help?

Or do you offer what you have and share what God has provided, knowing that He is the giver of all good things to His children?

Do you violate the God-given rights and liberties of others, or try to control others for your own advantage?

Or do you respect the privacy, personal boundaries and God-given rights and liberties of others, just as you would want others to respect yours?

Do you exploit or manipulate others for your own self-serving ends? Do you bear false witness against others in an effort to cover your own wrongdoing, or for your own gain? Are you a false accuser?

Or will you be honorable in your relationships and in all your delaings with others, having true concern for the well-being of others and respecting their integrity?

Are you abusive and cruel in your treatment of others, demeaning them in the false belief that you can elevate yourself at another's expense? Are you a bully and control freak who tries to intimidate others with threats or blackmail? Do you blame others for your own problems or circumstances, even when they have done nothing wrongful to you?

Or, asking God's help, do you take responsibility for your own attitudes and actions, repent of any wrongdoing which has harmed others, and ask God to help you change your heart, to obey His commandments and His will?

Those who love God will make every effort not to sin; they will repent of sin and do all in their power to make amends to those they have harmed, willfully or not.

FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness may be one of the most difficult things to accomplish, but the true nature of it first must be understood. Many Christians will think it means, "Forgive and forget". But "forgetting" is simply not possible, it is only a form of denial of the truth. Nor should we try to forget. If someone sins against you, especially if it is a pattern of behavior, such as any kind of exploitation or abuse, if we treat the sins "as if they never happened", we can become enablers of the abuser if we don't stand up and confront the person who is doing us harm. Attempting to forget (even if it were possible) will only makes things worse, as it only allows, and even encourages, the dynamic between abuser/offender and victim to continue.

Neither does forgiveness mean that you have condoned the offenses against you. Just because you can find it in your heart to forgive does not mean that what the offender has done (or continues to do) is "okay"; it does not mean you should ever tolerate the offensive behavior. God does not want us to become doormats, or to allow ourselves to be made into victims, slaves or hostages. We have the right to stand in our own defense and to seek God's justice.

Forgiveness does not mean that you can necessarily trust the person who has sinned against you. Trust has to be earned, over time. If someone continually proves he is not worthy of your trust, if the abuses or the betrayals continue, then there is no reason to trust, nor should you.

In some cases, you can have true reconciliation, but not without the heart of the offender being changed. In some cases, although you may be able to forgive, there can be no reconciliation, and all you can do is walk away and "shake the dust from your feet." God sees what is in your heart. You are not held accountable for the wrongdoing of others. If the sin is not yours, God knows that.

"CHRISTIANS" WHO HATE

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.

Romans 8:14

One of the things I find to be most distressing, as well as a cause for righteous outrage, is the smug pronouncements of those who claim they are "Christians", but who promote not the love of Christ, but rather hatred and bigotry. This bigotry may be focused on any group, those of any particular ethnic, racial or religious heritage.

Some, for example, would have you believe that certain "bloodlines" are the "spawn of Satan", or the "seed of Cain". They claim that these groups, "Edomites", "Ashkenazi Jews" (or even all Jews), are evil by their very nature and that they are responsible for all the evils of the world. Same holds true for other "Christian" bigots who claim that black people (or others of color) are "the Lower Races" "mud people", etc.

There are neo-Nazi groups with their own "churches" who extol the "virtues" of Adolph Hitler and actually promote their hate in the name of Christ!

These hate groups and individuals will use the Bible as a weapon against their Targets, claiming that their hatred and bigotry is not only justified, but even "commanded" by the scriptures and by God Almighty!

How, you may ask, could the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit fit into this grossly and monstrously demonic ideology? It can't, it doesn't and it never ever will. The answer is clear for all with eyes to see, ears to hear, or the love of Christ inscribed upon their hearts.

"CHRISTIANS" AND PORNOGRAPHY

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

1 Corinthians 6:18

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1 John 2:15-16

Can someone be a Christian and use pornography? I've heard people who claim to be Christians saying that there's "nothing wrong" with pornography, even that it is "healthy" or "natural", or that just because it is "legal", there's nothing wrong with it. I completely and absolutely disagree. In fact, I believe that there is EVERYTHING wrong with pornography.

Pornography is an abomination to God. It defiles the body and corrupts the spirit. Can the Holy Spirit dwell in an environment of corruption? Or will the corruption attract unclean spirits? Pornography is of the demonic realms, not of the Kingdom of God. And never the twain shall meet.

Pornography (aside from the greed of those selling it) is created for the singular purpose of inciting lusts of the flesh. It is not only demeaning, to both men and women, but poses the worst danger to children. Because pornography, by its very nature, flashes the "green light" for all sorts of perversions and debauchery. Users of pornography become addicted to the negative effects it produces, just as abusers of alcohol or drugs become addicted. The "thrill" they experience soon dulls and they seek a more potent "thrill". Children become victims of sexual abuse most often in cases where the adults raping them have been led down that path by the use of pornography --ANY kind of pornography. Pornography also destroys marriages. Let's face it: What decent, self-respecting woman (or man) would want to be married to a porno freak, someone who is lusting in his/her heart after anyone other than his/her spouse?

Remember the admonition of Jesus Christ:

But I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Matthew 5:28

And what about those women who claim to be Christians, and yet pridefully allow their bodies to be put on display for the express purpose of inciting lust in the hearts of men? Does anyone really believe that the Playboy Mansion is just a place for "good wholesome fun"? Do they know that the Playboy Empire was founded by a satanist? Do they have no discernment at all?

I've read the testimonies of former "Playboy Bunnies" who claim this was an innocent and enjoyable pastime, even something they "loved" being. As Christians, how can they not recognize the truth? Such a woman may not be engaging in hardcore pornography, but where do they think such activities are leading? Do they think the men who frequent such establishments are not using pornography? But most important of all, do they actually believe that this is how God wants them to glorify their bodies in the service of Christ?

By promoting and condoning such activities, are these the "Christian" values they want to teach their children?

THE CHURCH

I was baptized as an infant in the Orthodox Catholic Church, otherwise known as the Eastern Orthodox Church. Throughout my childhood I was taken to various churches, Protestant and especially Episcopal, on certain occasions. Neither of my parents were particularly "religious", though both came from religious churchgoing families. I still have my Mother's Bible, presented to her as a child from the Presbyterian Church. I was named for Saint Barbara, a Christian martyr of the third century. (Saint Barbara is the Patron Saint of "artillery" and there exists to this day The Ancient Military Order of Saint Barbara. I have even known some people who are members.)

So although I can say I was "raised as a Christian", there was not any regular formal instruction in leading a Christian life. But in my heart of hearts, I felt the presence of God, and knew His Holy Angels were never far away.

In my young adulthood, the one church that appealed most to me was the Catholic Church. It was certainly not because of the doctrines or the catechism, which I was not trained in --and from what I knew of them, they didn't appeal to me at all. I did not attend services on a Sunday, but while walking down a street, I would often find myself drawn to a Catholic church. I would walk inside when the church was mostly empty. I would usually light a candle, give an offering and sit alone in a pew to pray. And I did feel the presence of Christ in the silence, often more so than at other times. Of course, this was in the days when most churches (even in NYC, where I lived) kept their doors open at all hours of the day and night. It is a very distressing feeling to walk up the steps of a church, a House of God, only to find the doors barred from entrance. And although I understand why the churches are now locked, due to theft and vandalism, it still bothers me, as a church is meant to be a sanctuary.

Throughout most of my adult life, I was not a regular churchgoer. I had my own ideas about "church", and I never found anywhere that I "fit in". Mostly, it was the dogmas, the lack of freedom to worship in a way that came naturally to me. And as mentioned earlier, I was not the kind of "Bible believer" who could endure having my worship of God and my spiritual life limited by the religious doctrines and judgments of men. And in some cases, I mean "men" literally. I cannot respect nor adhere to any religious doctrine that treats women as if they are somehow lesser beings in the eyes of God, or that women should have to "submit" to men, rather than solely to God.

In my quest for God, I did undertake seminary studies, and was ordained (1979) as a minister in the Universalist Church, but I didn't "fit in" there either. This church was not "Christian" enough for me and it didn't feel right to continue any association with them. Christ was not the focus, but rather a mixture of various religious traditions and secular humanist ideas. I guess "ideas" is a good word, because it didn't enhance my faith in God, but rather would have led me down another path where I did not want to go. The same can be said for my other intensive studies of religious and spiritual traditions, including Eastern mysticism, Buddhism and even certain religious cults. In searching for spiritual truth, I looked far and wide, but always found that Jesus Christ was the only answer, at least for me.

In any case, I didn't do much officially as a "woman of the cloth" and not having much use for "religion" per se, I've never been led in the Spirit to be a pastor of any church. I was asked to officiate at a couple of marriage ceremonies, and they were held at the people's homes. My specialty in seminary training was pastoral counseling, and also having been trained as a Jungian analyst, I did work for years in such a capacity, for both private clients and on staff at various educational institutions, and also as an instructor. But although I am no longer involved in those practices, I still consider myself a Christian minister.

For many years during my adult life I would go to different churches on an occasional basis; I would usually go to a service on Christmas Eve, sometimes on Easter Sunday, or whenever the Spirit moved me. I would sometimes go with friends or family to their churches, and sometimes I would go alone. Except in rare cases, I usually benefitted from being there, and enjoyed the Christian fellowship, but God did not put it in my heart to join any of these churches. Religious orthodoxy, for the most part, does not suit me, though the lack of membership in a church did not diminish my devotion to Christ.

I actually thought, during these years, that I would not ever become a member of any church. I changed my mind (or maybe, God changed it for me) in 2009. But before telling my story about the church I joined, I should explain certain things which might elucidate my decision.

Here's the big "secret" I have kept largely to myself for most of my life: In my heart, I have always felt like a "catholic". It was the reason I walked into those churches so often, on the spur of the moment, many years ago. This feeling was strange to me, since I have many "issues" with the Catholic Church. I don't believe the Pope is God's representative on earth. I don't like the male-supremacist, authoritarian doctrines and "rules", such as that women cannot be ordained as priests, but are relegated to being nuns, considered lesser beings in the sight of God. (I don't care what anyone says contrary to that, that is the way I see it.) I don't believe that priests should be forced into celibacy and not allowed to marry, as the price of serving God. I'm well aware of the corruption in the Vatican (and I won't even begin to get into what I have learned about that...) I don't believe there needs to be so much emphasis on "guilt" to make the parishioners obedient to God (or, as many Catholics see it, obedient to the strictures and dictates of the Church.) Aside from these observations, most of the practicing Catholics I have known are true Christians who love Christ. I have no quarrel with them. I still go to a Catholic Mass on occasion and feel perfectly comfortable being there, as I am there to worship Christ, and that is all that matters.

If a stranger walked into my house, he would most likely draw the conclusion that I am a Catholic. I have religious statues, paintings, crucifixes, candles for the Saints, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, icebox magnets with quotes from scripture. As for the images of angels, they are everywhere --suspended from the ceilings, placards on the walls, stone angels, carvings, prayer cards displaying angels from scripture. I have a particular love of angels, as I have often been blessed with visits from angels, throughout my life.

I have been collecting such religious icons for most of my life, many of which I end up giving away as gifts to others. To me, these images are not "objects of worship" in themselves, but they serve as reminders of God's Kingdom, His Saints and Angels, and enhance the hope and joy I have in Christ.

So it's true that in my heart, I am a "catholic", despite my disagreements with the Vatican. But I also don't believe the Vatican is the exclusive "catholic" church, nor the only "Church of Jesus Christ". As I stated, I believe that is the Body of Christ, which includes the Catholic Church, but is certainly not limited to it.

The church I have been attending since 2009 is the one where I finally felt like I "fit in". It is the Episcopal Church, otherwise known as Anglican, which is the only church which is considered both "Protestant" and "catholic".

The way I see it (as do many others, mostly those who have come from a Catholic background), the Episcopal Church encompasses the best of both Catholic and Protestant. Priests are allowed to marry, and most of them do. Women may become priests, as well as members of clergy (a more recent reformation, during the 1970s). You don't have to be "confirmed" to take Communion. Everyone is welcome to receive Communion (Holy Eucharist) at Christ's table, and it is held at every service, rather than just once a month, like at some Protestant churches.

The Episcopal Church has retained many of the original liturgies, sacraments and beautiful traditions of the Catholic Church. Some will say, Oh, that is just window dressing. Not by my way of thinking, as I still find it inspirational and see no harm in it. We celebrate the holidays of the Saints and honor them, including the martyrs for Christ. In addition to the Bible, we use the Book of Common Prayer, both at services and for private study and prayer.

And although it is still a "religion", there is nothing I am asked to do that compromises my principles in any way. If I have a problem or disagreement with anything the Church is doing (and it's not often that I do), I simply do not participate, and my Brothers and Sisters in Christ respect my right to worship and serve as I will, as led by the Holy Spirit. There is never any pressure, nor judgment.

Actually, I have some history with the Episcopal Church. I had my son baptized in the Episcopal Church, many of my friends and some of my family have been Episcopalians, and the services I attended when I did go to church were most often there.

But I didn't so much choose this particular Episcopal Church, as it seemed to choose me.

I joined the Church in 2009. I later decided to be "confirmed in Christ" in the Episcopal Church ("one holy catholic and apostolic church".) My confirmation was on November 6, 2011. It was a special day for me, one that I will always remember. So, I found a way to really be a "catholic" after all. Without making a single compromise. Hallelujah!

I found my church when I wasn't looking for one, at least not on a conscious level. One day, as was my regular habit, I was walking on the path down by the beach, collecting seashells and driftwood. I was going through a terrible time in my life, with major upheavals and severe stress. My health was suffering and I couldn't afford medical care. I was so impoverished that I was actually going hungry at times. I had no one I could rely on for any sort of help.

On my walk that day, I met up with a neighbor who lived on the same street, just two houses down the block. I knew him only as a casual acquaintance, someone I would say hello to, when he was walking his dogs, or out for a jog. And although he and his wife had been my neighbors for the past six years, I didn't know he was a priest, not until that day, when I saw him wearing a clerical collar for the first time.

So I said to him, I didn't know you were a minister. He said, A priest, actually. I then asked him, What church? He told me it was the Episcopal Church, the name and the location. I told him that I am a Christian, and we had a brief discussion about that. I explained that a few years ago I had attended another Episcopal Church in a nearby town, but had not felt it was the right church for me.

At the end of the conversation, I told him that I might stop by his church some time. I went the very next week, not to a service, but to a church supper on Saturday night which was held in the Fellowship Hall. I was made to feel welcome by the Priest and everyone there. I liked everything I saw in the beautiful old church (it was founded in 1626, which I found amazing), and I felt a strong presence of the Holy Spirit, and so I decided I would go to the service the next day. And although I had no intention of "joining" a church, I have been attending on a regular basis ever since.

Joining this church has made all the difference in my life. The Priest and members of the congregation are not only my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, they have also become my friends. They have gone out of their way to help me and support me. They have driven me to the hospital or doctor's appointments when I couldn't get there on my own. They brought me groceries when the cupboard was bare. They have listened to my problems, even while struggling with their own. They don't care where I came from, what I was involved in, and --what a relief! -- they don't care what I wear to church. (I don't get "dressed up", for any reason.)

I have seen in my own life what their prayers have done for me. I don't think I have become a more devout Christian, but I do think I have become a better Christian, in many of the ways that count.

At my church there are a number of different ministries to choose from, and I can participate in the ones best suited to me. We collect and distribute food for the needy, we support the homeless shelters, we have community outreach programs, church fairs, Bible study and other classes, Evening Light services with gospel music, and regular church suppers, breakfasts, and other special events for Christian Fellowship.

But most important of all, we are called at the end of every service to be "Christ's heart and hands in the world", to "go forth in peace to love and serve the Lord."

And as far as I can see, that is what it truly means to be "Christ's Own".

As a result of my experience as an fbi agent and my battle with the fbi assassins over the past few decades, I can confirm that the following report is based upon valid premises and that in all likelihood Leonard Peltier was wrongfully convicted as set forth below; further, he is in my opinion a hero who stood as a man against the fbi psychopaths and serial killers (both within the ranks of the fbi gang and within the civilian community that the fbi controlled) who were sent to kill him.

Few men can say that they faced off against the hoodlums of the fbi; few stand tall against the community vigilantes directed by cops and fbi assassins; and fewer still now come to the defense of this American Legend, Mr. Leonard Peltier.

This report exposes just a few of the so-called "Christians", "Patriots" and "Whistleblowers" who purport to be activists fighting for Liberty, and who also claim to be working to free political prisoners.

I will present evidence that:

1) The "activists" in question fall into one (or more) of the following categories: A) Government Agents, most notably COINTELPRO, who spread black propaganda and disinformation; B) their Dupes, who in fact live in profound ignorance of who is exploiting them, and why; C) Charlatans and Con Artists who are profiting from the "Conspiracy Industry".

(Yes, there is such an industry and millions of dollars are ripped off every year from unsuspecting "conspiracy buffs" who believe they are "fighting the good fight" by donating money to "patriot" causes; buying books and CDs; buying tickets to attend conferences and enrolling in seminars where they believe they will learn "the truth" from government whistleblowers and other "conspiracy researchers".)

2) That these Agents and their Minions and Stooges are, as an integral part of this operation, attacking legitimate Whistleblowers, genuine Patriots and true Christians, as part of the neutralization campaigns of COINTELPRO.

The purpose being, in large measure, to DISCREDIT TRUTH ITSELF, while at the same time, allowing the tyranny to continue unabated, and the totalitarian police state tactics to gain an ever-increasing stranglehold over the populace.

That is why these operations are called "controlled opposition". The tyranny and totalitarianism will be "opposed", but in such a way that few to none of the actual perpetrators will ever be held accountable for their crimes, corruption and cover-ups. By the same token, the Targets and Victims will not see justice for the crimes committed against them.

Is this not what is in fact happening in this country? I'd love to see some evidence to the contrary, but from my observations, and more importantly, based on the facts, the events and the overall effects and consequences, things are only getting worse.

My usual method of exposing these operatives, dupes and shills is to simply let them expose themselves, using quotes from their own writings. This way, the contradictions, the falsehoods, the lies, can easily be spotted and refuted with the facts and the evidence.

I'll start with one of the government stooges, one Charles Bruce Stewart. Here is a quote (2006):

Mr. Stewart published this "legal" document (see link above for entire document), from which I will include several other excerpts in this report. First, note Mr. Stewart's grandiose claims to self-appointed authority under the law. Does anyone really believe that Mr. Stewart's "credentials" would hold up in ANY court of law? Or that anyone, even a legitimate practitioner of "Common Law", of "Constitutional Law" or an "expert" in such, would take him seriously?

I don't think so. I myself am no expert in any kind of law, but in my opinion, simply as an observer of Mr. Stewart's activities over a period of years, common sense would dictate that anyone who would throw their lot in with him, especially allowing him to be the author of such a document, to which their name is VOLUNTARILY attached (and no indication is given in the document as to WHICH names these are), would have to be either a complete ignoramus/dupe, or someone attempting to discredit the whole of the ideas and claims which are promoted in this document.

I can certainly name one such person who falls into the "attempting to discredit" category, the late Ted L. Gunderson (November 7 1928 - July 31, 2011), FBI Chief and COINTELPRO Kingpin.

But before I get into Ted Gunderson's contribution to Mr. Stewart's legal document, here is the first portion of the document relating to the lawsuit:

Secondarily; this complaint is focused on the active Cointelpro policies of “Picking-Off Leaders” who have been raised up by natural/organic body-politic spiritual process, perhaps even in the minds of many of us “at the hand of God”.

Mr. Stewart makes references to COINTELPRO throughout his document. But he is clearly woefully ignorant about the true nature of these operations; as well as about the longterm involvement of one of the "plaintiffs", Ted L. Gunderson, in COINTELPRO, both under the official auspices of the FBI (under J. Edgar Hoover) in his capacity as an FBI Agent; and in his de facto capacity, in the years since his "retirement" from the FBI until his death in 2011.

His comment on "the hand of God" is particularly ludicrous, considering some of his sources.

The affidavit referenced by Mr. Stewart included Ted Gunderson's testimony against Barbara Hartwell, in which he (ironically) claimed that I am part of a "government disinformation program." Gunderson also wrote a letter to (then) Attorney General John Ashcroft in which he made similar false accusations against Barbara Hartwell and other legitimate whistleblowers.

As regards Gunderson's true involvement with satanism, he married satanist Diana Rively, the ex-wife of Anton LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan, in 1998. Gunderson denied the marriage, but doing a search of the key words will produce evidence furnished by Barbara Hartwell, also exposed by investigative journalist Sherri Kane.

But let's move on to Leonard Peltier. Peltier's name is included in Stewart's document, though I have no way of knowing if it was by his own choice. My additional comments follow this excerpt.

At the time of the "Incident at Oglala", in 1975, Ted Gunderson was still in the FBI and operating in his "official" capacity of COINTELPRO. I have reason to believe that Gunderson was directly involved in the conspiracy against the AIM and Leonard Peltier.

In support of that belief, I will share some of my own testimony, which could be considered "anecdotal", were I a witness in a court of law. The readers, as always, may make of it what they will.

In 1998, I was at a conference with Ted Gunderson, which was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where we were both speakers. One evening, I went out to dinner with Ted. We were in the cocktail lounge waiting for a table, and we were discussing some issues that came up at the conference.

Ted usually "took the side" which blamed the FBI for its corruption, but when I brought up the case of Leonard Peltier, he became defensive and agitated. I had told him that I was a longtime Peltier supporter, and explained about some of my efforts to have him released, as he is innocent of the charges and wrongfully incarcerated.

Ted, instead of being his usual "charming" self, barked at me: "He belongs in prison! He killed two FBI agents!"

I tried to discuss this with him, arguing the facts of the case, with which I was very familiar, due to years of my own research. But Ted was adamant about Peltier's "guilt" and I finally gave up trying to persuade him otherwise.

At the time, though his comments upset me, I didn't fully realize the significance. It would be at least another year before I had enough evidence to reach the conclusion that Ted Gunderson was COINTELPRO, but this incident stands out in my memory for obvious reasons.

But whether or not Ted was directly involved in the conspiracy against Leonard Peltier, his heated comments speak volumes about his true loyalties.

As for Charles Stewart, his remarks about "justified slander" are ludicrous. No slander is ever justified, else it would not be slander. But again, he is his usual clueless self about COINTELPRO and the loyalties of at least one of his fellow "plaintiffs".

The first I ever heard of Charles Stewart was when he contacted my friend, former FBI agent Geral Sosbee. At first, CBS presented himself as a "supporter" of Sosbee, promoting his website, Sosbee vs. FBI, and calling him "FBI Hero".

If the time period between August 2001 and August 2010 (nine years, to be exact) is considered by Stewart to be "decades", then maybe he should do the math for himself-- that is, assuming he is capable, which I doubt.

And for Stewart's edification, it is not a matter of "conflicts" between Barbara Hartwell and Tim White. In reality, there is a criminal stalker (Tim White) who has harassed and threatened a Target (Barbara Hartwell.) The Target has thoroughly exposed the criminal stalker, for felony threats, criminal menacing, monstrous invasions of privacy, outrageous libel and slander, as have a number of other targets of this psychopath, Tim White.

In summary, Mr. Charles Stewart is a just another government stooge, a pompous ass who knows nothing about any of the subjects (or persons) he addresses. Geral Sosbee has referred to Stewart as a "mental dwarf", and I couldn't agree more.

Next, let's take a look at a more recent interaction between Charles Stewart and his buddy, Tim White. Apparently Mr. Stewart has reversed his position in his staunch support of White. Note his reference to "mind-controlled slaves".

NOTE: I've been a Leonard Peltier supporter for more than 3o years. I have written editorials (including for mainstream hardcopy publications) and posted many of the newsletters from the activist organizations which are working to free Peltier.

For awhile I took my name off the e-mailing list due to invasions of privacy by 'Topica' (nothing to do with the Peltier supporters), but recently, the organizations have been using another server, and I was able to get back on the list.

I signed the petition for Bill Clinton to grant clemency to Leonard Peltier in 2000, but of course, he failed to do what he should have done.

I was also asked to be a signatory on the V.I.P. list, which I considered a great honor, as it is by invitation only.

We, the undersigned, hereby urge the U.S. President to look into the case of Leonard Peltier. There is sufficient evidence that this Anishinabe/Lakota human rights activist is innocent. In court, the prosecuting attorney admitted that neither the U.S. government nor the FBI have any idea who killed FBI agents Coler and Williams; and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals decided that the FBI had coerced witnesses, committed perjury, fabricated false evidence, and withheld crucial evidence proving Leonard Peltier's innocence.

We also urge the U.S. Senate / Congress to start hearings into the misconduct of the FBI in thisparticular case. After all, 55 Congress members have already asked former President Clinton to grant Peltier executive clemency.

Furthermore, the Belgian and European Parliaments have each adopted two resolutions with these same demands.

Normally, I would not appeal to Barack Obama for anything, but I must make an exception in the case of Leonard Peltier. I would do just about anything in my power to see him set free. Since I don't wield any political influence in any sphere, and since I lack the resources to donate funds, all that is left is to continue to do what I can by publicizing the case in the hope that others will be as outraged as I have been, these many years, and stand up in solidarity with Leonard Peltier, for Freedom and Justice.

It has been a tremendous source of distress, as well as frustration, that I continue to see such a large volume of ever-proliferating false information and outright nonsense about Barbara Hartwell published on the World Wide Web. I think it's safe to say that anyone who has been a Target of such an assault on his/her good name and personal/professional reputation would feel similarly.

The sources for this false information are many and varied, but primarily consist of organized libel/slander/propaganda campaigns fomented by government agencies whose objective is to discredit and neutralize the Target (in this case, Barbara Hartwell). These campaigns are based on a core of fabricated black propaganda and supplemented periodically with additional false information, which is then disseminated far and wide by a large but loosely organized network of minions and stooges of the government's operatives, including COINTELPRO.

The network consists of a bunch of rank amateurs, who fancy themselves "researchers" or "journalists", but are nothing more than garden variety snoops and busybodies, seeking attention for themselves at the expense of those targeted for their libelous gossip and scandal-mongering.

This COINTELPRO disinformation network utilizes many websites, from the smallest blog you've probably never heard of, to the largest commercial enterprises in so-called "alternative media".

Much of the false information (in the forms of misinformation, disinformation, libelous/slanderous falsehoods, black propaganda, etc.) pertains to CIA's black operations and the MK Ultra program, both generally, and specifically, as to my personal involvement in these projects. For my purposes here I will focus on setting the record straight in regard to just a few of the most common public misconceptions (based on absolute falsehoods, twisted versions of factual events, etc.) which I have found to be circulating on the World Wide Web for many years.

CONTAINMENT OPERATION/PROTECTION RACKET

Regarding MK Ultra: the government hired an army of spin doctors, apologists, disinformation specialists, and "deprogrammers", all liars and manipulators, with the objective of "containing" the survivors, especially those who made the decision to speak out about what they had been subjected to at the hands of the Nazi scientists/doctors and their pals at CIA.

My first reports, exposing just a small part of what the U.S. government had done to me, were published on the Internet beginning in 1995.

In 1997, I made a public appearance at the Global Sciences Congress in Denver, Colorado, where I was invited to speak by the organizer, Dean Stonier. At that time, I chose not to make a public admission of having been CIA, for a number of reasons, some stemming from a lifetime of indoctrination in the Code of Silence. Even when the programming has been broken, the Code of Silence can still be a strong deterrent in speaking openly (and especially, publicly) about one's experiences. And of course, due to the Crime and Punishment protocol adhered to by CIA, I had been "punished" one way or another, each time I spoke out.

[The punishment for speaking at Global Sciences came less than two weeks later, in an incident of extreme harassment. A military fighter jet was deployed to fly (so low and so loud, it was enough to wake the dead!) over the roof of a 'safe house' where I was staying. The incident was covered up by the FAA, to whom I made complaints, and then later made public (including on the Jeff Rense radio program) not by me, but by a group of misguided busybodies and amateur researchers, who twisted the truth by claiming that the incident was meant to "target" their little UFO group for "exposing alien abductions". This had absolutely nothing to do with why the incident occurred, but how typical. Once again, the truth of government harassment against Barbara Hartwell is obscured by a silly sideshow which promotes a false explanation. Shame on you all, including Jeff Rense!]

But anyway, my silence on that particular subject didn't stop certain individuals from perceiving the truth about my background. One such person, present at the conference, was Gene "Chip" Tatum, a career military/CIA operative and whistleblower who had gone public after having been convicted of "treason" (telling the truth about certain CIA black operations) and spending two years in "Club Fed" for his "crime".

Chip approached me after the speaker's meeting which preceded the conference, where we all introduced ourselves and each gave a brief summary of the topics on which we would be speaking. My own introduction was brief, and I stated that I was a journalist and would be speaking about "government harassment" directed against me for "exposing corruption", but I didn't elaborate much on that, at least not in the meeting.

Chip walked up to me and stated, So, I see you're 'one of us'. When I made no reply he said, CIA, that is. Since I saw that he meant no harm, or disrespect, I asked, What makes you say that?

He laughed and said, It's written all over you. It's the way you speak, what you say, and especially, what you don't say. He added more of his astute observations about my general appearance, behavior, etc. I wasn't offended by what he said, as I too have the particular form of 'radar' which allows me to perceive such things, but I did wonder if he had any previous information on which to draw his conclusion.

This conference was also where I first met FBI Chief Ted L. Gunderson, whose lecture topic was "27 Years in the FBI: THE REAL TRUTH".

Now, here comes the interesting part of this story. My invitation to speak at the conference was arranged through a mutual friend in NYC who was a regular attendee at the Global Sciences in Denver. It was a sort of "last minute" deal, and I was told that I would be a "mystery guest" whose appearance would not be advertised beforehand, as the brochure listing the speakers had already been printed. When I spoke to Dean Stonier on the phone, I was told that my speaking slot would be determined by whether or not another speaker, Ted Gunderson, would be present. As I understood it, if Ted wasn't able to make it to the conference, I would be given his place on the schedule, but if he did show up, Dean said he would find a way to include my lecture in the program, no matter what.

This was the first I ever heard of Ted Gunderson. One of the false stories circulating on the Internet is that Ted Gunderson was my "handler" while I was inside. Not true. The truth is, I first met Ted at the Global Sciences Congress in 1997, shortly after I first heard his name mentioned by Dean Stonier.

Subsequently, I developed a personal friendship and professional association with Ted Gunderson. I worked with him for roughly three (3) years, including on the lecture circuit, radio and TV interviews, and in various investigations.

I broke off my association with Ted Gunderson in 2000, after a series of events which made me realize that Ted was not who he claimed to be, a "whistleblower", but in fact a COINTELPRO operative (just as he had been while serving in the FBI), whose purpose was not exposing "THE REAL TRUTH" but rather, containing the real truth, along with anyone (including myself) who was exposing it.

There came a time when looking back on it, I realized that Ted Gunderson had in fact been planted on me for just that purpose, though to his dying day he promoted the false story that the opposite was true.

Long story short, I refused to be "contained" by Ted and his cronies, several of whom also approached me with offers of "help". Among those I have previously exposed in my reports are CIA agent Don Stacey; low-level penetration agent and Gunderson factotum, Doug Millar (a real idiot!); CIA agent Mark Phillips (promoter of "Monarch" and handler for Cathy O'Brien); Susan Ford (aka Brice Taylor). There are others whom I have not named, but they are not relevant for the purpose of this report.

DISINFORMATION GALORE

One of the worst offenders in spreading outrageous lies and malicious libel against Barbara Hartwell, for more than a decade, is Ken Adachi (aka Peter Boudreau), who served as the primary PR shill for the late FBI Chief and COINTELPRO Kingpin, Ted L. Gunderson. This useful idiot, Adachi, came out of the woodwork to begin his long-running (it continues to this very day) libel/slander campaign on his website, 'Educate-Yourself', shortly after I broke off my association with Gunderson.

It is important to state the fact that Ken Adachi does not know Barbara Hartwell. He has never had any form of contact with Barbara Hartwell. Most of what Adachi thinks he knows (in reality, nothing at all) about Barbara Hartwell has come from the outrageous lies furnished by Ted Gunderson himself, who had a huge stake in discrediting me after I broke off my professional association and personal friendship with him, and also by Sue Ford aka Brice Taylor, a promoter of the "Monarch" project, who did all she could to discredit me when she saw I was not going to join up with the Sob Sisters' Sex Slave and Satanism disinformation campaign.

Then there are Adachi's other "sources", also minions and stooges who were under the control of Gunderson, such as predicate felon, career criminal, drug-trafficker, child porno freak, fed snitch Timothy Patrick White (aka Tim White aka Patrick Alexander aka George Mateski); fed snitch, fed impersonator, identity thief, Brenda Negri; fed snitch, identity thief, forger, plagiarist, blackmailer, Todd Brendan Fahey, just to name a few of the worst of the lot.

All of these individuals are pathological liars and psychotic stalkers (cyber-stalking, stalking in vehicles and on foot), and all made threats of violence, and even death, against their Targets. I should know, as these demonic minions have for many years considered Barbara Hartwell Public Enemy Number One. And all are operating out of an obsessive personal vendetta against Barbara Hartwell. Why? Because I have exposed them all as criminals, stooges, G-Man wannabes and psychopaths.

Adachi's accomplices in this massive libel/slander campaign, primarily run from his website, 'Educate-Yourself' (but also disseminated far and wide) each contributed their own pseudo-reports and slam pieces, all making outrageously false claims about Barbara Hartwell. The most prevalent claim being that I am a "CIA disinfo agent", and/or that I am "under mind control" by CIA.

This was Ted Gunderson's lynchpin in his attempts to discredit Barbara Hartwell and it has been promoted by Ken Adachi, ad infinitum, ad nauseum, for well over a decade. It has also been parroted by many ignorant people, none of whom know anything at all about Barbara Hartwell. Most of these wannabe-pundits hide behind silly screen names --how typical, for that is how cowards operate.

And although I have thoroughly refuted most of the outrageous lies and character assassination promoted by Ken Adachi et al with the truth and the facts, the lies have taken on a life of their own via the Internet grapevine, parroted ad infinitum, ad nauseum, by scores of ignorant busybodies and stooges of Adachi's ilk.

Over the years, I have ignored most of the libelous falsehoods and disinformation spread all over the Internet, on literally hundreds of websites and message boards. Who could find the time to address and refute it all?

However, from time to time (tiresome and time-consuming as it is) I find it necessary to expose at least some of these idiots and set the record straight.

Susan Ford and Ted Gunderson violated the copyright, pirating this video, in collusion with a videographer and Gunderson minion named Jon Gentry, who made an unathorized simultaneous taping of the interview. I signed a release ONLY for Chicago Health Televison to use my interview, and NOT for Gunderson, Ford or Gentry. The video has been used as a disinformation tool, and most notably, to attempt to discredit Barbara Hartwell. I have found countless versions of this tape, accompanied by headlines such as "Barbara Hartwell CIA Plant", etc.

In the version above, note that I am lumped in with Susan Ford and called a "MK Ultra mind control slave". In fact, I have never been any kind of "slave", nor have ever called myself such a thing. This "slave" nonsense is promoted by Susan Ford, who claims to have been a "sex slave". It has also been heavily promoted by charlatans like Fritz Springmeier and Cisco Wheeler, as well as Doug Millar and others.

As usual, the name of the idiot who wrote the text message, also stating, AS IF IT WERE A FACT, that Barbara Hartwell was "exposed as a plant", is not given. Whoever you are, you are a low-grade moron. I do know that one of the Gunderson shills who wrote this type of crap, under various idiotic screen names (such as 'Truth Ranger') is a criminal named Clarence Malcolm, Ted's sidekick for about seven years. 2) At no time did I EVER claim I was a "MK Ultra slave". Not to Ted Gunderson, not to anyone else. This "MK Ultra slave" bit is really wearing thin. Is there no end to the chain of idiots who seem to feel compelled to repeat this lie?

3) Ted Gunderson's "help" with "money", in the entire time I was associated with him, was limited to a check he mailed me for $100.00.

They are a couple of New Age nincompoops who promote the "ascension" garbage ad nauseum, and other such gobbeldygook, and their guests are mostly a bunch of shills like Benjamin Fulford, David Wilcock and others of their ilk.

Their interview style is so amateurish (especially Cassidy) that even when they have a guest who is actually a legitimate whistlebower and a credible source of information (I've seen a few), the information is not allowed to flow naturally, but is constantly interrupted by nonsequiturs and aggressive questions which seem designed to throw them off the track, rather than to bring forth the information which would be of most interest to the audience.

If their agenda is in fact to discredit those they interview, then they're certainly doing a good job. (But then, most of the New Age whackjobs who appear on the program can easily discredit themselves, as soon as they open their mouths.)

PLEASE, NO LETTERS RE MK ULTRA

Lastly, I find it necessary to address the issue of some of the people who continue to write to me with their comments and questions on MK Ultra and related topics. I do not have a public e-mail address, for the simple reason that I am not interested in discussing my work, my writings or my personal/professional business with the public.

True, I have a public website, but aside from that, I am a very private person. I only want to be left in peace. I am a true recluse, by nature and increasingly, by my own choice. If you've read this far (and certainly if you've read much of what's on my website) then it should be clear how I feel about my privacy, which I guard fiercely. Aside from that, I am not a "social" person by any means. The extent of my "social life" is Christian fellowship at my church.

Busybodies have in many ways been the bane of my existence, those who just refuse to mind their own business and leave me alone to tend to mine. Unfortunately, the Internet is rife with busybodies, nosy, pushy gossips and snoops who lack any sense of common decency, and who invade the privacy and personal boundaries of others with impunity. I've just described a number of them in this report.

I have put up notice after notice after notice, clearly stating: THIS WEBSITE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. Readers may make of my reports what they will.

I have such a prominent notice posted permanently on the sidebar of this website.

I have also repeatedly asked the readers to please NOT send me their personal testimony about mind control, government harassment, etc. etc. I often get requests for pro bono assistance in these cases. As I have stated, time and time again, I am unable to provide such assistance and such people are only wasting their time by sending me these case files, legal documents, etc. I don't even have time to read them.

And yet, I continue to receive letters by post, from readers who apparently do not understand my clearly stated notices. What's more, I keep getting letters from the SAME people, who say they read my website, and yet they have not seen my notices?

One person recently sent me at least five such letters, in handwriting so tiny I could not risk straining my eyes to read them. There were also photos of some of the perps I have exposed on my website, including Todd Brendan Fahey, Don Nicoloff, Brenda Negri, Tim White, copied off the Internet, some from my own reports and others from different websites.

I don't know what the point of all this was, as there was nothing I didn't already know about these people. She also said she thought I could help her "because you are a CIA agent". No, no, no, I am NOT a CIA agent. I am FORMER CIA, and that too is clearly stated on my website.

I wonder, what is it going to take to discourage this?

Then, I get letters from people who seem to think they know things about me which are in fact completely false. These people are either making their own false assumptions, or they are simply repeating what they have read on the Internet from false sources (such as some of the liars and shills exposed in this report).

Here is an excerpt from one such letter. I won't reveal the name of this person, as I'm sure he means well, but I would ask him to please NOT send me any more of this.

"I went to your website and read. I wanted to write to you about Sue Ford being blackmailed by Henry Kissinger and George Bush. Have you ever wonder why Sue acts the way she does? Well it's because she can be put away in a mental health hospital for the rest of her life if she doesn't Blackmail others as ordered by the American C.I.A. In other words she tells everything anyone says to her. Have you ever seen the movie "The Exorcist"? that movie is based on Sue when she was only Eleven years old. Sue has the ability of telekinesis. Kissinger had Sue pumped up on L.S.D. drugs and made an audio recording of Sue talking in reverse speech. Sue also has the ability to channel spirits. Sue cannot shape shift but in the movie she does but that is disinformation. Henry Kissinger and George Bush made a lot of money off the film. Because Sue has multiple personaility disorder she will never be free from being Blackmailed by the new world order. You may want to keep this in mind when one of your friend start to talk to Sue..."

What I find most disturbing is the constant references to Sue Ford, Cathy O'Brien et al. This is just one of many letters I have received in which they are mentioned, AS IF they have anything to do with me.

I must make it clear that I have no interest in these people. I have no common background or experiences with these people. I was NOT involved in the so-called "Monarch" project, which was NOT a CIA operation.

I was NOT ever any kind of "sex slave", nor any other kind of "slave". And I was NOT involved in any way, shape or form with these individuals while I was still inside CIA, nor had even heard of them.

And no, I don't wonder why Sue acts the way she does. I know enough about her from my own brief and unpleasant past dealings with her, which were over a decade ago.

Furthermore, I don't CARE why she acts the way she does. The only thing of concern to me is the extreme damages done to my personal/professional reputation by Sue Ford and her fellow Town Crier, Ken Adachi, who seems to consider his fellow busybody, Sue Ford, the "expert" on the life and times of Barbara Hartwell. "According to Brice Taylor (Sue Ford)...blah blah blah..." "Brice Taylor says...yada yada yada..."

Neither of these people know what the hell they're talking about, their only purpose being to do as much damage as possible.

And believe me, no friends of mine would ever be talking to Sue Ford, so I don't need the unsolicited advice.

No offense meant, but in future, I think I will simply have to have these letters stamped "return to sender".

Open Letter to Aaron James: Formal Complaint for the Public Record

Mr. James:

Since 2008 you have been waging an unjust war on the name of Barbara Hartwell with libel and slander, defamation, character assassination and outrageously false accusations.

You claim I am a "CIA Agent".

You claim I have "targeted" you and your family.

You claim I was involved in the so-called "racial profiling" attacks against you.

You claim I was responsible for sabotaging your website and having it taken offline.

You claim I have been in collusion with the FBI, most specifically an agent named Stephen Davis, to "target" you.

You claim I have been in collusion with John McCain to "target" you.

You claim I have accused you of being a "federal agent".

You have made these utterly false, libelous/slanderous accusations many times, in many venues over a period of more than three (3) years. You have posted your lies about Barbara Hartwell on many websites and message boards. You have shot off your ignorant lying mouth on many radio programs. You have exploited the broadcasts of several talk show hosts on which you were a guest, using them as a soapbox to slander me, and then exploited the hosts' names (including casting unwarranted aspersions on them) to further your crusade of attacks against Barbara Hartwell.

Worst of all, you have created and posted a number of lurid tabloid-style videos with a photo of me splashed across the front with the captions: "CIA AGENT BARBARA HARTWELL EXPOSED!" and "CIA AGENT BARBARA HARTWELL TARGETS OUR FAMILY."

Mr. James, before I even get started in refuting your plethora of diabolical calumny, I'll say this: I am damn sick and tired of you and your malicious lies, your flagrant paranoia which has led you to target me as your scapegoat, your pseudo-intellctual diatribes, your grandstanding to get public attention and sympathy for your "case", your whining, hysterical voice, your wimpy-looking mugshot, your cowardly attacks falsely accusing me of being a racist and a government agent.

How dare you!

What the hell is wrong with you?

You do not know me, nor do you know anything at all about me. I have done absolutely nothing wrongful, nothing whatsoever to harm you or your family. And yet you have unleashed your wrath upon me for your own self-serving purposes. It is you who have targeted me, not the other way around. Apparently, you wanted yet another enemy --so now, be assured, you've got one.

Do you have any idea, Mr. James, the damage you have done with your vicious libel/slander campaign? When I put my name into a Google search, what do you think is the first thing that comes up on the screen?

That's right, YOUR filthy propaganda videos with my photo front and center.

Do you know how many times I have been told by people who did not know me (lawyers, real estate agents, and others with whom I had dealings of one kind or another) that after running my name in a Google search, they had decided they did not want to do business with me?

That's right, because unfortunately for me, they believed the total load of horse manure you have made it your mission to sling around all over the Internet.

Do you know how great the damages to me have been? How much time, energy and money it has cost me just dealing with the fallout from your malicious attacks?

Not only have I been falsely labeled as a "CIA Agent", but now also a racist.

FYI, Mr. James, nothing could be further from the truth, so let me enlighten you (assuming that is even possible, which I doubt). In fact, I have spent my entire life fighting against any form of bigotry or oppression, including, but certainly not limited to, racism. I have fought for human rights (for ALL, regardless of race, gender, age, ethnic origin, religion) and also for animal rights. I have written countless editorials, hosted/produced TV and radio programs, done many public speaking engagements, demonstrated, picketed, engaged in civil disobedience, and even been arrested and jailed (but never convicted of any crime), all for the purpose of DEFENDING THE RIGHTS of the oppressed.

I have marched on Washington numerous times, including in protest of the Vietnam War. (I was arrested there, too, in 1969.)

In the 1980s I was a press representative for Amnesty International. Guess who were most of the prisoners I helped to set free? Black people who had been unlawfully incarcerated and in some cases, tortured.

For over thirty years, I have been an activist in support of Leonard Peltier (American Indian Movement), wrongfully convicted of murder and unlawfully incarcerated as a political prisoner. He's still in prison, and I continue my efforts to set him free to this day.

I have also been a longtime supporter of former IRS Agent Sherry Jackson, wrongfully convicted, who was a prisoner for over three years.

I promote the work of other black journalists and pastors on my website.

So let's get one thing thing straight: I am NOT a racist. I do not have a racist bone in my body! And I have never "targeted" anyone of any race for "racial profiling", nor been involved in any such operations. That is despicable and it is equally despicable of you to accuse me of such a thing!

Now, to your other false accusations:

You claim I am a "CIA Agent".

FALSE. I broke all ties with CIA in 1994. Period. Case closed.

Perhaps you are one of those many ignorant people who believe, "Once a CIA Agent, always a CIA agent. WRONG. But in your case I happen to know where you came across this false notion: Your pal, Timothy Patrick White. Tim White was the "source" for this false information, and you even admitted as much in your own writings. So, you were simply parroting the lies of Tim White, accepting them at face value. How stupid. of you, and how shameful.

FYI, Mr. James, Tim White has been harassing me for well over a decade. He calls me "that CIA BITCH", as well as other epithets too filthy for publication. He also claims I am a "CIA Agent" who was sent to "target" him. What a coincidence...

Tim White is a career criminal, a predicate felon, and most notably, a fed snitch. He made a deal with the feds in 2002 for a get-out-of-jail-free card. His end of the deal was to harass, stalk, libel and slander patriots, journalists and whistleblowers, those of us who are exposing the crimes and corruption of the government. And his list of targets is a mile long...

Tim White has ZERO credibility among legitimate people and is notorious for his stalking and death threats. So, since this lowlife psychopath is your "source", I have to wonder how stupid you could possibly be to attribute any veracity to anything he says.

You claim I have "targeted" you and your family.

I never heard of you, Mr. James, until you were a guest on a radio talk show (RBN), a station I used to listen to on a regular basis. I called in to the program not to "target" you, but because I was outraged by the story you were relating, that is, about how you had been targeted for racial profiling.

I did nothing but sympathize with you at the time, but considering your subsequent response to my sincere concern for your plight, I have nothing but contempt for you.

You claim I was responsible for sabotaging your website and having it taken offline.

Where you came up with this idea, I have no clue. I am not any kind of hacker, far from it. My knowledge of computers and electronics is extremely limited. But more to the point, I would have no reason to want to take your website offline, because I never had any reason to "target" you to begin with. So, I can only surmise that this malicious flight of fancy emanated from Tim White as well.

You claim I have been in collusion with the FBI, most specifically an agent named Stephen Davis, to "target" you.

Wrong again. FYI, Mr. James, I have no dealings with the FBI, except, that is, to occasionally call to report criminals like Tim White. And I never heard of Stephen Davis until I saw my name connected to him on your website. I have never met the man, never spoken to the man, never had any contact with the man.

You claim I have been in collusion with John McCain to "target" you.

For the record, I do not know John McCain. Never met him, never spoken to him, never had any contact with him. And considering what I think of him, being a traitor and all, I never, ever will.

You claim I have accused you of being a "federal agent". That falsehood, too, is plastered all over your websites and videos.

Now, Mr. James, you have really gone off the deep end. I never accused you of being any such thing. Here is what I ACTUALLY said in my reports: That you were an ACCOMPLICE of Tim White, "the fed snitch". And that is all I ever said. I never accused Tim White of being a fed agent either. He's a G-Man wannabe and government stooge, nothing more, and I certainly have never made such a statement.

As for you, Mr. James, you ARE an accomplice of Tim White, in your libel/slander campaign and your persecution against Barbara Hartwell. THAT is "targeting", in case you are even more mentally challenged than I thought.

But here's the bottom line in all of this: If you do not REMOVE all of your libelous/slanderous garbage from the Internet, I will be making formal complaints against you with any servers you use and I WILL LEGALLY attempt to get your sites taken offline.

I will be also making a formal criminal complaint against you as being in collusion with the criminal conspiracy which has been persecuting me for many years, including stalking, criminal harassment and death threats. Tim White has threatened my life, has solicited additional crimes against me by like-minded thugs, and all this has been well documented, as well as reported to various police departments and the FBI.

And in case you wonder, I have evidence galore.

I have had enough, Mr. Aaron James! I consider you nothing more than a lowlife piece of sub-human gutter trash.

When a government is running the most nefarious operations imaginable, which involve massive human rights violations; the co-opting of the lives of innocent children; the torture of those children (non-consensual trauma-based programming and other hideous abuses), as well as genetic tampering (eugenics/"enhancement"), for the purpose of exploiting these children for their own ends, the government perpetrators will go to any lengths to cover up their crimes.

This is precisely what they have done, and those targeted for further criminal violations by these government rat bastards are those who have already been victimized and exploited, with the objective of neutralizing them --one way or another-- silencing them so that they are prevented from exposing the crimes that were perpetrated against them.

The fact that the MK Ultra program was initiated by Nazi war criminals, brought to the U.S. after WWII, under Project Paperclip, and who formed the original core of CIA (1947, from its precursor OSS) tells you much of what you need to know, and certainly raises the stakes. This is a historical fact, one that no amount of disinformation, propaganda or false claims of "National Security" can ever cover up; and which no number of excuses can ever justify.

I know more about the Nazis than I ever cared to, not because I made any particular effort to learn, but because they were right there in my face, up close and personal, perpetrating their crimes against me personally, as well as against others in my family, from the time I was a small child. In fact, in their arrogance and hubris, these bastards thought they had the right to co-opt my life as "government issue" before I was even born!

Thank the American CIA for allowing these grievous injustices, these outrageous atrocities, to be perpetrated on the country's own citizens, using us as just another kind of cannon fodder, to wage their wars of aggression on the entire world; as well as to wage Psy War against their own people. They actually thought they had the right to breed and raise their own crop of future spies and soldiers, to exploit them at will, for an agenda, which even now, remains hidden from the larger part of the populace.

All these many years later, the very sight of a swastika, or other icons and symbols of this absolute evil, make me feel sick, but also motivate me to redouble my efforts to put a stop to the continuing criminal conspiracies, the Nazi legacy that lives on.

These jackbooted thugs, these swaggering demonic entities, puffed up with their own false sense of power and control, populated my nightmares, as did the visions of those they tortured and killed.

But they were always vanquished by the Angels of the Lord, brandishing their flaming swords, those who protected me and saved my life through divine intervention, more times than I can ever count.

So, for all you Jew-haters out there, all you Holocaust-deniers, all you white supremacists, Aryan Nations, Christian Identity freaks, all of you who are so brain-dead, brainwashed, and lacking in the slightest bit of spiritual discernment, you who think you can rewrite history with impunity, by spreading the disgusting propaganda either that A) There was no Nazi holocaust; or B) that there was ANY merit, ANY justification whatsoever for what these Nazi evildoers did to the Jews; those who would actually defend the psychopath and devil incarnate, Adolph Hitler, or become apologists for the Third Reich --know that you will also be held accountable for the inestimable pain and suffering of countless individuals, including --but certainly not limited to-- the Jews. One of those individuals being Yours Truly, Barbara Hartwell.

DELIVERED FROM CIA BY THE GRACE OF GOD

I broke out of CIA operations, finally and irrevocably in 1994, after 25 years of being utilized (at that time, my entire adult life --and that doesn't include the training I had beginning in early childhood) and began to make my case public roughly one year later. As I have previously stated in my public reports, it took years to finally break free; it took years of battling with my handlers, years of blood, sweat and tears. But ultimately it was the Grace of God that finally set me free.

For those who cannot understand this, no explanation is possible. For those who do understand, no explanation is necessary.

Because of this simple, truthful statement, I have been the Target of many libelous/slanderous attacks by those small-minded and ignorant persons who obviously have no idea of the real power of the Living God, some of whom call themselves "Christians".

With God, all things are possible. But according to those who have attacked me, calling me a "liar", a "CIA disinfo agent", and/or claiming that I am "mind-controlled" by CIA, because I chose not to be "deprogrammed", it is not "possible" for God to work miracles or deliver His people from the clutches of evildoers like Nazis or CIA.

WRONG. They know not whereof they speak, and they have absolutely no business even mentioning my name in connection with their own ignorance and stupidity.

IN PURSUIT OF JUSTICE

For many years, I've seen petitions posted all over the Internet, signed by survivors of some of these black projects (some of whom are legitimate and others whose credibility is questionable, to say the least) requesting that government officials "come clean"; that they acknowledge the atrocities that were perpetrated against the victims; that they release the classified files, etc. etc. I wish them luck --they'll need it, considering the many layers of deception and the immense web of lies; the compartmentalized information and the smokescreens that obsuscate the truth about these operations.

Speaking strictly for myself, I have never taken an approach which "requests" a redress of my grievances, nor have I "appealed" to these criminals in the government (or their agencies) for justice. I have not signed any petitions (nor will I) to any sitting president or other officials. And I most certainly have never (and would never) "appeal" to an organization such as the United Nations, or other globalist totalitarian collectives who have absolutely no business interfering with the lives of Sovereign Individuals living in a Sovereign Nation.

No, unlike many others, I do not "appeal" or make "requests". Rather, I DEMAND JUSTICE. I DEMAND that my God-given rights be respected. Furthermore, I EXERCISE my God-given rights.

I will never negotiate with these criminals. I will never compromise my principles, nor "make a deal" with the criminal perps who have made my life a living hell and stolen everything from me. Everything that is, but my faith in God and my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. They tried to steal that too, but failed miserably.

God-given Rights are NON-NEGOTIABLE. Anyone who has violated my rights (or the rights of others, most especially including those under my protection) at any time, in any way, will be held accountable --by me personally. They will be exposed, always by name. In any case where it is possible, I will deal with them directly, whether it is in spiritual warfare or trench warfare.

Furthermore, I will do all in my power to have them prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I believe in the law. The Rule of Law, that is, under the U.S. Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land. For the rest, I rely on my firm faith in God's Justice. And I truly believe that for these enemies of God and humanity, sooner or later, there will be hell to pay.

DO NOT EVER...A Common Sense Code of Honor

Persons of good moral character, of honor and integrity, did not just "get that way" by accident. No, there are no accidents in God's Universe. The truth is, God gave each and every one of us what I consider the greatest gift imaginable, aside from Life itself: Free Will.

Will you use that Free Will to respect and honor God, and His creation, by making every attempt in your actions, and in your interactions with others, to obey God's Laws and reflect His Glory? Or will you slap God in the face by becoming an aggressor against others, by trampling the God-given, Unalienable Rights and Liberties of the Individual?

Make no mistake: God-given Rights are bestowed upon each INDIVIDUAL and anyone who violates those rights will be held accountable; even if justice is not done in this earthly life, there is no escape from God's Justice.

Don't "believe" in God? That doesn't change the reality of God's existence, as you will certainly learn --one way or another, sooner or later.

Among those who don't acknowledge the existence of the Creator, the One Almighty God, but rather believe that there are many "gods", or even that they are gods unto themselves, are those who will tell you that there is no "evil" and no "good", no right or wrong, but only the "balance" of Light and Darkness (good and evil) in the universe. Some are so arrogant as to claim that they are "walking the line" in some grey area between the Light and Darkness, to preserve this "balance". According to their strong delusion, in their futile attempts to usurp the very power of God, they have appointed themselves as a sort of Cosmic Police Force to maintain "order" in the universe. These are the persons who believe that the "ends justify the means", and whose aggression knows no bounds. Avoid them like the plague.

It is my belief that aggression is the root of all evil. But before going into detail about some of the acts that comprise aggression, it is necessary to define the nature of aggression. Aggression can be understood, first and foremost, as a LACK OF RESPECT for the privacy, personal boundaries and the Inviolability of Personhood.

I do not approach this subject from a "legal" perspective, nor even from a "religious" angle but rather from a general spiritual/moral/ethical perspective. For my purposes here, I will define a "Person" as any individual human being or other sentient creature. And I do believe that yes, God sees "every sparrow that falls". God sees every act of kindness, compassion and mercy, every act of selfless service to others in accordance with God's Laws, and every act of cruelty, aggression and injustice.

But this report is not about sparrows, it is primarily about the way Persons of the human variety treat one another, and about a Code of Honor, which if scrupulously followed, removes aggression from the equation.

Before you can RESPECT the rights, the liberties, the privacy, the personal boundaries of others, of the INDIVIDUAL, that is, you must first fully ACKNOWLEDGE them.

Communists, socialists, leftists --collectivists of any stripe-- by definition cannot respect the personal boundaries of others, simply because they refuse to even acknowledge them. The so-called "common good" is their hue and cry, and in their false belief that the collective trumps the individual, they don't give a damn about trampling individual rights. But in truth there can be no "common good" as long as the rights of even one individual are being violated. This totalitarian ideology, or tyranny, in any form, is rooted in aggression against the rights and liberties, the privacy and personal boundaries of the Individual Person.

Then, there are the garden variety busybodies, whose aggression may be less extreme and more mundane, but it is aggression all the same. Aggression is a slippery slope, and those who set foot on that path will eventually reach the bottom --at least, without a revelation of truth and a conscious effort to remedy their attitudes and actions, before it is too late.

But it doesn't take an ivory-tower philosopher or religious scholar to see the truth. Anyone with the common sense God gave them may know the difference between right and wrong, between good and evil, between respect for an individual's rights and personal boundaries, and the aggression that violates them.

All that being said, here's a Common Sense Code of Honor, very simple and easy to understand. It is not all encompassing, not by a long shot. Mostly, it is just based on MINDING YOUR OWN BUSINESS and leaving others in peace to tend to theirs. Not overstepping your bounds. Not interfering, not meddling, not engaging in acts of aggression, in any form.

DO NOT EVER...

Invade the privacy of another Person.

The Right to Privacy is an integral part of Individual Liberty.

DO NOT EVER: Snoop into the private affairs of others. A Person has the right to keep secrets, if he so chooses. He has the right to the quiet enjoyment of his home, his property, his personal/family relationships, without outside interference.

A Person has the right to keep the physical address of his home, his telephone number, his e-mail address PRIVATE, to protect himself from prying eyes, unwanted public scrutiny and threats to his security and safety.

A Person has the right to privacy in his personal papers and effects. This includes his private journals, e-mails, audiotapes, videotapes, etc. Anyone who steals these private effects, and/or who willfully invades the privacy of another, by publishing such personal materials, is not only a busybody, but a malicious wrongdoer.

DO NOT EVER: Violate the confidence of a Person who has shared ANY sort of private/sensitive information, by divulging those confidences to others. If someone has trusted you with private information about his life, respect that confidence and keep the information to yourself. Do not be a tale-bearer; do not be a gossip. Loose lips sink ships. They also destroy friendships. Do not become a Town Crier for the private business of others. It's not your place, not your story to tell.

DO NOT EVER: Show up unannounced and uninvited at a Person's home. It is the worst sort of intrusion and the ultimate in rudeness. Unless there is a dire emergency which you KNOW to be the case, or unless that Person has expressly stated that you are welcome to "drop in" anytime without prior notice, DO NOT EVER.

DO NOT EVER: Appoint yourself as a "matchmaker" between other Persons. Do not contact one Person and without the prior knowledge and permission of another Person, try to arrange a meeting, broker a deal, offer your assistance, or otherwise meddle in the business of other Persons. DO NOT EVER become an unwanted intermediary in the business of others.

DO NOT EVER: Give unsolicited advice. This applies across the board, whether it is a friend, a family member or especially, a stranger. Do not take it upon yourself to advise others, unless they have specifically asked. If someone wants your advice, they will ask for it. If they don't, it is not your place to foist it upon them.

DO NOT EVER: Interrogate others about their personal habits, their finances, their relationships or other private matters. Above all, do not be a busybody who tells others how to live their lives; what they "should" or "should not" be believing, doing, spending, drinking, smoking, etc.

DO NOT EVER: Think you have the right to "decide" for another Person in situations where that person may have asked for your assistance. If someone asks for your help, first find out HOW they want and need to be helped, before you take any action. Respect the wishes of those you are helping, rather than taking matters into your own hands. If you are unable or unwilling to help them in the specific ways they request, then say so, and leave them free to seek help elsewhere.

DO NOT EVER: Give a Person an animal for a "pet" without first asking their permission. Many animals end up homeless or in shelters because they were "dumped" on an unwitting recipient by a do-gooder busybody who decided that they "needed" this animal for a companion, or that the animal "needed" a good home, when in fact it may not be a good match for either Person, the animal or the human being.

DO NOT EVER: Presume that you know what is "best" for another Person. Only God knows what is best, and only the Person has the right to decide that for himself. Whether he is "right" or "wrong" is not your place to decide.

DO NOT EVER: Buy a subscription to any publication in another Person's name and have it sent to their mailing address/home address, without first asking permission. Especially, if the Person is a Prisoner, you may be compromising that Person's safety by doing so. Prisoners have been punished (including being placed in solitary confinement) for the indiscretions of do-gooder busybodies who have foolishly sent "incendiary" material addressed to them.

DO NOT EVER: Pay unwanted attention to any Person who has made it clear (either directly or by their silence) that they do not want any dealings or communication with you. DO NOT EVER harass another person with unwanted e-mails. letters, telephone calls.

DO NOT EVER engage in any form of stalking. If a Person has rejected your advances (whether of friendship, "romance", professional business or otherwise) leave that Person in peace!

DO NOT EVER: Bear false witness against another Person, for any reason. Period.

DO NOT EVER: Threaten to, or engage in blackmail of another Person, for any reason.

DO NOT EVER: Use any form of coercion or extortion against another Person.

DO NOT EVER: Draw first blood.

DO NOT EVER: Physically assault another person, except in self defense, or in the defense of others.

DO NOT EVER: Invade the private property, or the country of other Persons.

DO NOT EVER: Wage a war of aggression against other Persons.

DO NOT EVER: Attribute all the evils of the world to any particular race or ethnic origin of Persons, any particular religion of Persons, or to the gender of Persons, making them into scapegoats.

COINTELPRO Jew-Haters: Spotlight on Clay Douglas & The Free American

NOTE: For more than a year, I have been sharing my documentation of many years of investigations, research and professional/personal experience with investigative journalists Dr. Leonard Horowitz and Sherri Kane. They have graciously reciprocated by providing me with their own documentation and personal testimony regarding their experiences.

What's it all about? In a word, COINTELPRO. The official COINTELPRO was implemented in 1956 by FBI director J. Edgar Hoover. The acronym stands for COunter INTELligence PROgram.

Remember the motto of COINTELPRO, from the infamous J. Edgar Hoover : "Neutralize them".

There are hordes of ambitious amateurs on the Internet who claim to be "exposing" COINTELPRO and related FBI/CIA operations. They also claim to be "exposing" legitimate, professional journalists and whistleblowers, including Horowitz, Kane and Hartwell. These amateurs are mostly government stooges who serve as minions: gofers, errand boys and town criers, to spread the false information about their Targets, furnished by government operatives, far and wide.

But there's a serious problem with the material promoted by these amateurs: you can't "expose" operations or individuals about which you are glaringly ignorant. These useful idiots, armchair warriors and keyboard commandos apparently think they can compensate for their lack of knowledge, experience and expertise with aggressive verbal assaults against their Targets, especially including racial slurs and false accusations of being government agents. These stooges are a-dime-a-dozen, penny ante provocateurs with negatively inflated egos, fueled by paranoid fantasies and delusions of their own importance.

Most notable is that the SAME cast of characters continues to turn up, year after year, going back for well over a decade, and the SAME perpetrators are attacking, harassing and persecuting a small number of legitimate expositors of crimes and corruption.

And I must say that Len Horowitz and Sherri Kane have done as excellent a job as I've ever seen in investigating and exposing the unvarnished truth about these COINTELPRO operatives and their minions. Their no-nonsense, uncompromising and courageous stand against these liars, charlatans and mountebanks is exactly what is needed to put these people out of business and shut down their Psy War against true patriots, whistleblowers and activists, those willing to stand for Liberty no matter the consequences.

A few days ago I received a series of e-mail messages from Sherri Kane, who was rightfully outraged at the audacity of radio talk show host Clay Douglas, who e-mailed her, promoting a series of interviews with Jew-hater John Kaminski, and also soliciting donations to support his operations of promoting anti-Jewish propaganda.

Excerpt from Clay Douglas newsletter:

"Every time you do nothing to help the cause of freedom and justice you help the very enemy whose only goal is your total enslavement and destruction. Every time you fail to spread the TRUTH of what is really happening you become part of the enemy’s propaganda machine. Every time you fail to support those who are fighting on the front lines and risking everything for your benefit you are giving aid and comfort to the enemy. You may think that all is lost, but you couldn’t be more WRONG! Just ask the people of Nazi Germany, or Communist Russia…these “monsters” can be defeated and have been many times before….it just takes good people like YOU to help!"

After reading this, I was so outraged that I wrote a brief account of my own dealings with Clay Douglas. I e-mailed it to Sherri and Len with permission to post it, but then decided to post it myself.

CLAY DOUGLAS & HIS JEW-HATER PALS

In 2000, Clay Douglas contacted me out of the blue. I'd never heard of him (or his 'Free American' radio show and magazine), but at the time I had a public e-mail address on my website. (Barbara Hartwell DOT COM)

He invited me to be a guest on his radio show. I did a lot of radio interviews in those days, but was very selective about which invitations I accepted. I told him he could call me and I would be willing to speak to him, then decide if I wanted to be a guest on his show.

In my first phone conversation with him, he was very friendly, said he admired my work, etc. etc. He also sent me a huge stack of magazines (Free American) by post. The one thing that should have made me suspicious was his response when I brought up my former colleague, FBI Chief Ted Gunderson. I asked him, Do you know Ted Gunderson? and what do you think of him?

Yes, he said, he knew Ted, and said, "I like him!" I then explained that I had recently broken off my association with Gunderson due to "irreconcilable differences", but didn't go into too much detail, except to say that I had evidence that Ted was COINTELPRO, rather than a "Patriot Whistleblower", as he advertised himself.

Clay didn't make a big deal about any of this, so I let it drop. I agreed to be a guest on his radio show and we set up a time and date.

As I later discovered to my dismay, the whole thing was engineered as a set up. Clay Douglas lured me onto his show for one reason only: to attempt to discredit me. From the moment I got on the air, his previous affable, friendly demeanor was replaced by an aggressive, argumentative and combative attitude towards me.

Clay Douglas, instead of conducting the interview in any normal way, made it into a hostile interrogation, an Inquisition. He was rude and derisive, and did not allow me the opportunity to even respond to his rapid-fire questions, but rather just started yelling at me and cutting me off repeatedly in mid-sentence. After about fifteen minutes of this (including one commercial break) I'd had enough!

I told Clay Douglas (on the air) that I was not about to continue this "interview" in a hostile environment, and that unless he changed his disrespectful attitude I would break off the connection. At this point, he shouted, "How do we know you're not a CIA disinfo agent?! That's what I think! I think you're a CIA disinfo agent!"

At that point, another commercial break was coming up, and he timed his performance accordingly. He shouted, "Let's get rid of her! Let's cut her off right now!" The next thing I heard was the dial tone.

I've no doubt that Clay Douglas used the rest of the broadcast to trash the name of Barbara Hartwell, which was reported to me by several friends who had continued to listen after I was summarily ripped off the air. I don't remember exactly what was said (as reported by others), but I'm sure he just repeated what Ted Gunderson (his longtime crony and ally) had told him to say: Barbara Hartwell is CIA. Beware! Don't trust her! Don't believe a word she says!...and on and on in this vein...

Shortly thereafter, I heard Clay Douglas on another broadcast, where he was interviewing Mark Phillips (A REAL CIA disinfo/containment agent and mind-control handler) and Cathy O'Brien, his mind-controlled puppet. The discussion included more trashing of Barbara Hartwell, claiming once again that I am a "CIA disinfo agent".

I had never had any direct contact with Mark Phllips or Cathy O'Brien. I only knew that they too were involved with Ted Gunderson and his containment operation/protection racket. In fact, Mark Phillips had previously (circa 1998- 1999) been harassing me by e-mail. He made his approach by trying to get me to contact him, claiming he wanted to "help" me. Next, he tried to give me unsolicited advice about what I "should" and "should not" be making public about my case. I ignored the first couple of e-mails, then finally responded by telling him, in no uncertain terms, that I did not want or need his "help" or advice, and to mind his own damn business, stop the harassment and leave me alone!

Phillips then tried to discredit me by creating a public brouhaha, claiming that he and Cathy O'Brien had EVIDENCE; that they had BEEN TO COURT, etc. and that I had "nothing" to substantiate my claims re CIA mind control, etc. etc. (In fact, there has never been any connection between myself and O'Brien/Phillips, who touted the so-called "Monarch" program, which contrary to their claims, was NOT a CIA operation, and NOT a subproject of CIA's MK Ultra. Nor did my experiences have any commonality with the reports of "sex slave" Cathy O'Brien or her sometime associate, Brice Taylor aka Sue Ford, or others of their ilk.)

Clay Douglas, like the late Ted Gunderson, is a white supremacist/Jew-hater. It does not surprise me that he would be doing a series of interviews with obsessive Jew-hater extraordinaire, John Kaminski. In 2003, Kaminski called Barbara Hartwell a "mainstream Republican Zionist demogogue" and "intellectual whore" (among other epithets), accused me of being CIA (what else is new?), and spread other false information, stating that I "supported" Bush's war in Iraq and "putting bullets in the heads of Iraqi children". Nothing could be further from the truth, on any of those counts! (Kakminski also defends Adolph Hitler....need I say more?)

It also comes as no surprise that Clay Douglas would rip off money from Dr. Len Horowitz, or that he would fabricate an absurd tale of seeing Len Horowitz 'shape shift' into some sort of bizarre creature. This idiocy has now saturated the Internet (along with all the other libelous/slanderous falsehoods about Horowitz), being promoted by the likes of predicate felon, fed snitch, psycho-stalker Tim White, and his accomplices; Craig Oxley (white supremacist who calls black people "The Lower Races"); "Xena Carpenter" (a pseudonym used by identity thief, forger, blackmailer, psycho-stalker Todd Brendan Fahey); another of White's idiot accomplices, Alex (the stooge) Studer, and Alma Ott (aka "True" Ott), a charlatan/snake oil salesman touting fraudulent credentials of "PhD" and "ND".

This loathsome crew of of rabid Jew-haters (and their many accomplices/supporters) are responsible for massive damages to many decent, honorable persons, journalists and whistleblowers, be they Jews or non-Jews. If the targeted person is not Jewish (for example, Barbara Hartwell ) they will accuse that person of being a "Zionist" or fabricate other filthy slurs. If the targeted person(s) are Jewish (such as Len Horowitz and Sherri Kane) they will be disparaged as "Khazar Jews", "Edomites", "Ashkenazi", "seed of Cain", "spawn of Satan", etc. etc. If the Target is a woman (Barbara Hartwell, Sherri Kane and others) she is called a "slut", a "whore", and much worse. They are not only Jew-haters, but also rabid misogynists.

These characters are sowers of discord, purveyors of hate, merchants of destruction, mongers of pornographic filth, protectors of child traffickers/pedophiles, and are in fact the veritable minions of Satan, all the while pretending to "EXPOSE TRUTH", oftentimes (as in the case of "True" Ott), even in the name of Jesus Christ!
